Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Gustave, as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. Gustave practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Dr. Gustave can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Frederick Gustave, D.D.S., P.C. have the latest training in all the surgical procedures performed in our office. All surgical staff go through extensive training and are required to complete the Oral Maxillofacial Anesthesia Assistants Program conducted by our national association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Our staff work in conjunction with the Doctor to provide you the safest and most efficient care possible. All surgical staff are CPR certified and are required to recertify every two to four years.
